Undercurrents, Inc Acquires First Act Data Solutions

June 30, 2023 - Columbus, OH - Undercurrents, Inc, a leading music tech company, announced today the acquisition of First Act Data Solutions, a Canadian data science and music intelligence company specializing in finding local opening acts for venues who host local and national touring acts. The purchase price was not disclosed, but it was confirmed that the transaction was completed using a combination of cash, stock options, and cryptocurrency in keeping with the forward looking business plans of Undercurrents. Harrison will be joining the executive team to help steer the vision to bring a more immersive experience to fans around the world.

First Act Data Solutions, founded by Harrison Goldstein and Anthony Castrio, uses advanced algorithms to analyze data and identify up-and-coming artists who are ready to perform on the big stage. The acquisition of First Act Data Solutions will provide Undercurrents with an innovative new way to identify and book the best up-and-coming talent for its events.
